Private Monofin Lessons

In some locations our instructors can run private monofin lessons for adults & teenagers in public swimming pools and their own swimming pool (including at apartment buildings & gated communities), or hire a swimming pool at Swimply.

We currently have high quality fantail shaped monofins that fit:

Men's shoe size 5.5 - 9

Women's shoe size 6.5 - 11

(larger sizes will be available soon!).

1 hour lesson with monofin hire = $115.

*Before starting finswimming training all swimmers must be confident swimmers. Swimming lessons are available with Remo & Kelly Jade's Swimming Academy

Finswimming Benefits:

Finswimming Training Levels:

FinSwimming Beginner Training:

Train to swim using a monofin.

FinSwimming Intermediate Training:

Train to do forward flips, back flips & spins with a monofin.

FinSwimming Advanced Training:

Train to race with a monofin.

FinSwimming Elite Training):

Join a Finswimming Squad (must have your own monofin).

Conditions of Entry:

Full payment must be made before booking date & time is finalised. If we are not able to provide an instructor for your booked time you may receive a refund for that training session or the equivalent amount off your next booking. No refund if you are late to a booking or if you cancel within 48 hours. Refund due to a storm is at the instructor’s discretion on the day close to the time of the booking.

Only our qualified instructors may give instruction to finswimmers (no exceptions!).

Children under the age of 10 years must have a responsible adult within the vicinity of the pool area. Responsible includes not being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.

Smoking (including vaping) is prohibited within the vacinity of the pool area.

Payment:

Fees can be paid by Paypal or directly into our bank account.

Storm Policy:

If our instructors think there is a threat of danger due to a storm they are required to cancel the lesson. The instructor & client must leave the pool (indoor or out), and seek dry shelter. Do not use bathrooms when there is a storm.

*All of our staff have their swimming teacher licence, insurance, current working with children blue card, first aid & CPR training. Training is for use in swimming pools only, not for open water swimming. Our rates do not include entry fee into public swimming pool.
